Being a Sheffield MOT Garage, we are able to offer very competitive service and MOT packages, ensuring your car is safe and road worthy. Our MOT testers will carry out the necessary inspection on your vehicle. These include the exterior, interior, under the vehicle and under the bonnet.
Hopefully your vehicle will pass, in which case you will be issued a pass certificate (VT20). If it fails to meet any of the required checks you will be issued with a fail certificate (VT30) and a free, no-obligation estimate will be supplied.
Book an MOT up to 28 days before its due
At TM Automotive you can book an MOT up to 28 days before its due date. It is not widely known that the MOT expiry date on your new certificate is 12 months from the expiry of your old one. This means your MOT certificate could last up to 13 months.
If your vehicle fails its MOT, it doesn’t meet the necessary legal requirements and must be repaired in order to comply with MOT Test standards. What should I do if my vehicle fails its MOT? When you get your certificate back, there will be notes which your Nominated Tester gives you informing you of the reasons why your vehicle failed and will help you decide what to do next.
